Job summary

Natera is seeking a Clinic-based Test Coordinator in Lake Charles, LA to manage blood collection, specimen prep, and required paperwork for compliant lab testing. The role involves coordinating patient care, scheduling and aligning draw times with clinic needs, and liaising with Sales and internal teams to ensure patient continuity of care.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of phlebotomy experience with oncology exposure, a BS/BA preferred (HS diploma required), and state-certified phlebotomy

Qualifications

• 5–7 years phlebotomy experience, oncology experience required.
• BS/BA degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Phlebotomy Certificate required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures to obtain blood specimens with precision and care.
• Verify patient identity and test requisitions against EMR records.
• Maintain specimen integrity by following aseptic techniques and protocols.
• Accurately track collected specimens with initials, date and time.
• Coordinate patient care services, schedule appointments, and align draw times with clinic needs.
• Collaborate with Field Sales and internal teams to provide patient support and continuity of care.
• Document interactions and follow-ups with accounts and Sales, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Support compliance with CAP/CLIA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to inquiries, manage delays, and arrange sample redraws when needed.
• Uphold professional standards and effective communication with patients and teams.
