Job summary

Natera is seeking a Clinic-based Test Coordinator in Houston, TX, to ensure smooth phlebotomy services and efficient patient care coordination. You will manage blood draws, specimen handling, scheduling, and documentation in partnership with sales and operations to deliver timely results.

The role requires 5–7 years of phlebotomy experience with oncology exposure, a BS/BA preferred (HS diploma required), and state-specific phlebotomy certification. Pre-employment compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience in clinical settings is required.
• Oncology experience is required.
• BS/BA degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Phlebotomy certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures to obtain blood specimens with precision and care.
• Verify patient identity and test requisitions, cross-referencing EMR records.
• Maintain specimen integrity by following aseptic techniques and protocols.
• Track specimens by documenting initials, date, and collection time.
• Coordinate patient care services and scheduling of blood draws.
• Collaborate with Field Sales and internal teams to support patient care.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues to maintain turnaround time.
• Investigate escalated issues and provide clear explanations of root causes and resolutions.
