Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years phlebotomy experience with oncology focus.
• BS/BA preferred; High School Diploma required.
• Phlebotomy Certification as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures to obtain blood specimens with precision and care.
• Verify patient identity and test requisitions, cross-reference EMR records for accuracy.
• Maintain specimen integrity following aseptic techniques and protocols.
• Track collected specimens and log collection times and initials daily.
• Coordinate patient care services and scheduling to align with clinic requirements.
• Act as liaison between accounts, Sales, and internal teams; resolve inquiries and delays.
• Ensure compliance with CAP/CLIA standards and regulatory requirements.
