Job summary

Qualifications

• Education level equivalent to completion of four years of high school.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is required.
• Clinical competence in medical technology and basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare and transport specimens to Laboratory for analysis.
• Provide safe and efficient laboratory services to diverse patient populations.
• Perform clerical duties and receiving/distribution of stock.
• Refer unusual clinical and administrative problems to supervisor or designee.
• The position reports to the Supervisor of Laboratory.
