Qualifications

• Holding a valid phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• Color acuity screening test required for all applicants.
• Clinical rotations in a Northside Hospital Lab are acceptable education pathways.

Responsibilities

• Handle laboratory data collection systems and equipment to ensure that tests are ordered, cancelled, and charged correctly.
• Perform specimen collection procedures for inpatients and outpatients.
• Perform non-technical specimen processing and distribution of specimens.
