Job summary

Qualifications

• Education level equivalent to completion of four (4) years of high school preferred.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program.
• Verified on the job experience acceptable.
• Formal training in clinical competence and basic computer skills preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare and transport specimens to Laboratory according to regulations and standards.
• Provide safe and efficient laboratory services to all age groups; perform clerical duties and stock distribution.
• Refer unusual clinical and administrative problems to supervisor or designee.
