Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Cambridge, MN is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician for a Monday to Friday shift from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with rotational weekends. The role includes venous and capillary blood collections, POC testing, and processing across age groups, with responsibilities spanning from specimen handling to clerical tasks.

Salary ranges from $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, with potential annual incentive compensation based on performance.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or perform POC as assigned.
• Cleans and re-stocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric aged patients using proper aseptic collection techniques.
• Draws and delivers all blood work within established policy time frames.
• Reports incidents to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Travels to health fairs and PSA testing sites as needed.
