Quest Diagnostics in Forest Lake, MN is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to perform venous and capillary blood collections for all ages, plus Point of Care testing and related duties. Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotational weekends, as allowed by staffing.

Compensation includes a potential annual bonus as per company policy. Responsibilities include preparing carts, assisting with draws, delivering specimens, and maintaining POC equipment while adhering to safety and patient care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and performs POC as assigned.
• Cleans and restocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using aseptic techniques.
• Delivers blood work (stat, timed, routine) within policy time frames.
