Quest Diagnostics in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to collect venous and capillary blood from patients of all ages, perform point-of-care tests, and process specimens according to laboratory protocols.

This role runs Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; compensation ranges from $23.00 to $28.00 per hour plus potential annual bonus, generous benefits starting day one, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Experience with data entry and note documentation.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood via venipuncture or capillary methods as assigned.
• Prepare and restock POC supplies and carts.
• Assist with draws and POC testing as needed.
• Deliver specimens and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Report issues and supply needs to supervisor.
• Maintain patient safety and aseptic technique.
