• Performs routine and advanced venipuncture using standard precautions.
• Performs routine and stat capillary collections for all ages.
• Communicates collection and handling instructions for blood and non-blood specimens.
• Completes computerized orders verification, work lists, and documentation.
• Prepares specimens for processing, operates centrifuges, and documents tests.
• Ensures timely delivery of specimens to appropriate lab areas and maintains sample integrity.
