Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Phlebotomy Technician in Buffalo, MN to perform venous and capillary blood collection for diverse patient groups. You will handle POC testing, prepare carts, and support timely specimen processing in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 1 year phlebotomy experience, basic data entry skills, and flexibility to cover weekends and shifts as needed. A valid driver license may be required for travel to sites.

Qualifications

• 1 year phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and/or perform POC as assigned.
• Cleans and re-stocks POC supplies and prepares phlebotomy carts/trays.
• Assists coworkers with draws and POC testing.
• Draws venous or capillary blood from newborn through geriatric patients using proper aseptic collection techniques.
• Draws and delivers blood work within established policy time frames.
• Performs and processes all POC tests on patients ranging from newborn to geriatrics.
