Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to collect and process blood specimens across hospital facilities, PSCs, and mobile units. You will verify patient data, label samples, and ensure proper handling for analysis, with emphasis on accuracy and privacy in all interactions.

In this role, you may work at multiple sites, maintain high standards of quality, assist with workflow, and support billing and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification may be required.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required depending on department/location.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood specimens, ensuring correct patient and specimen identification.
• Enter, verify, and manage patient data and orders in the system for processing and billing.
• Label, aliquot, and transport specimens to appropriate laboratory areas; assist with quality and workflow monitoring.
