Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older where required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• May require DHS fingerprinting certification and valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens and ensure correct patient/ specimen identification.
• Enter demographics, physician data, tests, and collection details into the system.
• Process/prepare specimens for transport and testing; maintain sample integrity.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance; participate in quality and cost-control initiatives.
• Be flexible to work across multiple locations including mobile and in-office phlebotomy sites.
