Hebrew SeniorLife Hospice Care, based in Boston, MA, seeks a dedicated phlebotomist to perform daily specimen collection, labeling, processing, and documentation in a clinical research setting under the Marcus Principal Investigators.

Responsibilities include arranging specimens for testing, maintaining logs, and upholding safety and professional standards while engaging with participants and care teams. A high school diploma and phlebotomy experience with geriatric populations are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical terminology helpful.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience - geriatric capillary and venipuncture.
• Keyboard/data entry experience, if applicable.
• Customer service in a service environment.
• Ability to work on Monday and Friday mornings is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet participants; collect specimens accurately and on time.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens per testing procedures.
• Maintain logs and paperwork according to manuals and procedures.
• Adhere to grooming, dress code, attendance, and professional conduct.
• Keep work area neat; dispose of biohazard containers; assist with inventories.
