H. T. PROF Group is seeking a phlebotomist to assist with blood draws and specimen handling in a fast-paced lab setting. You will perform venipunctures, label specimens, and ensure proper documentation and storage while adhering to safety regulations.

The role requires 6 months of venipuncture experience and a high school diploma or phlebotomy certification. This contract position offers benefits and a chance for permanent placement based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens and centrifuging specimens.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimens and label/centrifuge as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and temperature control.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in department trainings.
