Hebrew SeniorLife in Boston is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform daily specimen collection and processing in a busy, high-volume setting. You will greet participants, collect samples, label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens according to testing procedures, while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires good organization, clear communication, and a professional demeanor with geriatric patients. On-site shift with Monday and Friday morning availability, adherence to safety and grooming

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; 1 year geriatric venipuncture experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge helpful.
• Customer service experience and ability to work Monday and Friday mornings.

Responsabilidades

• Greet participants professionally and collect/label/centrifuge/split specimens.
• Maintain records and logs; follow all departmental procedures.
• Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and health care providers; maintain neat appearance.
• Keep work area clean; assist with inventories and other tasks as assigned.
