Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Phlebotomist responsible for routine blood collection across age groups in the Phlebotomy department. The role requires accuracy, patient interaction, and adherence to safety protocols.

The position requires a HS diploma, GED, or phlebotomy certificate, and may include night shifts with rotating weekends. A background screening is mandatory for all care providers at the Main Campus.

Formación

• Graduate of a vocational program in phlebotomy or three months of phlebotomist experience.

Required Qualifications

• Require graduate of a vocational program in phlebotomy or three (3) months of phlebotomist experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer demonstrated ability to interact successfully with patients, staff and other healthcare providers and excellent communication skills.
• Prefer demonstrated knowledge of all relevant computer skills as needed for patient ID system and specimen processing functions.
• Prefer the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Prefer successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test.

Mandatory Education

HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Preferred License And Certs

FDL: Valid Driver's License

• Night shift Main Campus
• Rotating weekends and major Holidays
• Hours 9pm to 07:30am 10 hour shifts
