Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician for our Laboratory Draw Centers across the Treasure Valley. This full-time, day-shift role leverages your phlebotomy and lab tech experience to collect blood samples, identify patients, and ensure proper specimen handling.

You will register orders, label and process specimens, perform data entry, and serve as the lab’s central point of contact for requests while upholding quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy in a hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Transport specimens and perform related clerical and computer functions.
• Register, order, collect, label, process and distribute specimens for testing.
