Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Phlebotomist Tech for its Laboratory Draw Centers across the Treasure Valley. This PRN role requires a Day Shift and leverages your phlebotomy and lab tech experience to support patient care.

As part of the team, you will perform blood collection, patient identification, specimen handling, and related clerical tasks while ensuring accuracy and quality in all processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Register, order, collect, label, process, and distribute specimens for laboratory testing.
• Perform data entry and use relevant computer programs to support laboratory operations.
