Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Phlebotomy Tech to support the Treasure Valley Labs across nine centers. The role involves collecting blood, labeling, processing, and data entry, with duties at multiple locations on a day shift.

Full-time or part-time daytime schedules are offered, with additional pay for evenings, nights, and weekends. Prior phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting is preferred and certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Transport specimens and perform related clerical and computer functions.
• Register, order, collect, label, process, and distribute specimens for testing.
• Use computer programs and perform data entry; serve as central lab communications.
