Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Newberg, OR, with a schedule of Monday to Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and rotating Saturdays (one Saturday every 4–5 weeks).

The role offers benefits and potential for permanent placement. You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, centrifuge, and maintain accurate patient information while ensuring compliance with OSHA and department procedures.

Qualifications

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection per protocol.
• Document maintenance data and update patient information.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens correctly.
• Explain venipuncture procedure to patients in a clear, courteous manner.
• Ensure specimens are transported under proper temperature conditions.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient information and testing data.
• Explain the venipuncture process to patients and demonstrate technique.
