Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Selects appropriate phlebotomy technique based on patient age and maturation.
• Performs venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick as required.
• Labels samples properly and transports to the laboratory.
• Performs pre-analytical steps including bar coding, centrifugation, logging and staining as needed.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and assets.
