Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy training.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood samples using venipuncture techniques across all age groups.
• Receives specimens in the computer system and labels/prioritizes them.
• Maintains a clean, stocked drawing station and restocks supplies.
• Registers courier-delivered specimens and troubleshoots printers as needed.
• Demonstrates mastery of hospital information systems and orders tests accurately.
• Answers and transfers calls, ensuring coverage at all times.
