Job summary

Responsibilities include specimen accessioning, basic testing preparation, and supporting lab operations while adhering to all policies and procedures. A Phlebotomy Training Program and BLS are preferred, with potential cross-site coverage.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy technical training or schooling completed.
• Phlebotomy certification (PBT) preferred.
• Strong communication and patient-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood specimens using venipuncture, skin puncture, or heel sticks.
• Collects non-blood specimens such as urine or sputum.
• Ensures correct labeling and handling of specimens for processing.
• Maintains clean work areas and restocks supplies daily.
• Adheres to PPE and safety protocols for biohazards.
