Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks a Phlebotomist II Site Lead to manage daily operations at a Patient Service Center in East Patchogue, NY. This role requires direct patient contact, accurate blood collection, and leadership of PSR staff in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality of specimen handling, mentoring staff, and coordinating with management for process improvements. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders and patient information using lab systems.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
