Job summary

B Positive Plasma - Bethlehem is seeking a Plasma Center Specialist to assist in donor processing, phlebotomy, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work under the Center Manager and Medical Director, ensuring donor safety and product integrity in a controlled clinical setting.

You will greet donors, administer health histories, collect vitals, perform phlebotomy, document activities, manage inventory, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Previous experience or education in a health-related field helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors.
• Administer health history questionnaire to donors.
• Assess and record donor weight and vitals.
• Ensure facility and equipment are clean and maintained according to regulations.
• Set up, operate, and maintain instruments used for donor qualification and donation, as well as for the processing and storage of donor samples and products.
• Document activities and issues.
• Read, write, and understand the English language.
• Quarantine and discard unacceptable samples and products.
• Pack, label and ship samples and products to meet suppliers’ requirements.
• Attend to donor’s needs, including donor reactions.
• Promote customer satisfaction through appropriate interaction and responsiveness to customer needs.
