Job summary

B Positive Plasma is seeking an experienced LPN/Paramedic to join our team in Bethlehem, expanding donor services. This full-time role requires Monday–Friday availability, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include donor examinations, counseling, data review, and collaboration with the Medical/Laboratory Director. Travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing is expected. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current nursing (LPN)/Paramedic license in good standing for state applying for
• Current CPR, BLS certification
• High school diploma or equivalent, associates, bachelors degree, or above (must provide documentation)
• Ability to read and write English
• Phlebotomy experience a plus
• Basic proficiency in computer operations (Microsoft Word)
• Legible handwriting
• Customer service skills
• Punctual, reliable, and have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Selection of suitable plasmapheresis donors by performing physical examinations and taking medical histories on all donors, and through the use of FDA approved SOPs
• Timely review of donor data to confirm suitability and document decisions
• Assist with counseling, testing, and follow-up of exposures to blood/plasma
• Provide confidential counseling to unacceptable donors
• Provide care during donor reactions
• Assist in employee training as necessary
• Consult with Medical/Laboratory Director per policies
• Assist in other areas (vitals, registrations, lab processing, phlebotomy) and report unsafe conditions
• Travel up to 25 miles to other facilities for training or staffing
• Other duties as assigned
