Job summary

B Positive Plasma is seeking a Plasma Center Specialist to support donor screening, product integrity and regulatory compliance under the Center Manager and Medical/Laboratory Director. The role involves phlebotomy, equipment maintenance, and documentation to ensure donor health and product quality.

As a full-time, on-site position, you will assist with donor flow, sample handling, and safety protocols while coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent (must show proof).
• Previous experience or education in a health-related field helpful.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors
• Administer health history questionnaire to donors
• Assess and record donor weight and vitals
• Ensure facility and equipment are clean and maintained according to regulations
• Set up, operate, and maintain instruments for donor qualification and donation; perform Quality Control and routine maintenance
• Document activities and issues
• Provide donor information and answer inquiries
• Quarantine and discard unacceptable samples/products
• Pack, label and ship samples per requirements
• Attend to donor needs including reactions
• Travel up to 25 miles for training or coverage as needed
