The Phlebotomist III- Float represents the face of our company to patients at CLIENT, whether as part of their routine health checks or for critical health decisions. This role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining strict adherence to established procedures. The Phlebotomist III- Float interacts directly with patients, fostering trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing blood draws skillfully, safely, and accurately. This position requires providing coverage across multiple locations and roles, ensuring that daily activities in Patient Service Centers, Mobile units, Long Term Care, and In-Office Phlebotomy are completed accurately and timely. The role emphasizes leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information. Applicants may be assigned to work in various settings, including doctor’s offices, patient service centers, house calls, or long-term care, and may need to lead or mentor other staff members, including onboarding new employees and acting as a point of contact. The role may also involve working with high-complexity or high-volume practices, requiring advanced phlebotomy skills and excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative abilities across multiple functions such as Sales, Laboratory Testing, IT, Billing, and Logistics. Candidates must handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
