The Phlebotomist III - Float represents the face of our company to patients at CLIENT, whether as part of their routine health checks or for critical health decisions. This role involves drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, adhering to established procedures. The Phlebotomist III - Float interacts directly with patients, fostering trust and confidence by explaining procedures and performing blood draws skillfully, safely, and accurately.
This position requires providing coverage across multiple locations and roles, ensuring daily activities in Patient Service Centers, Mobile units, Long Term Care, and In-Office settings are completed accurately and timely. The individual demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. They may be assigned to work in various environments, including doctor’s offices, patient service centers, house calls, or long-term care, and may lead or mentor other staff members.
The role also involves acting as a resource, coach, or instructor for new employees and onboarding new clients. The Phlebotomist III - Float may work with high-complexity or high-volume practices, requiring advanced phlebotomy skills and strong customer-facing communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across multiple functions such as Sales, Laboratory Testing, IT, Billing, and Logistics. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting is essential.
