An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist III- Float to represent the company at various patient service centers and healthcare environments. The Phlebotomist III- Float represents the face of our company to patients at CLIENT, whether as part of their routine health visits or for critical health decisions. The role involves drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, following established procedures. The Phlebotomist III- Float interacts directly with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, and explains procedures clearly while ensuring safe and accurate blood collection.
This position requires coverage across multiple locations and roles, including Patient Service Centers, Mobile, Long Term Care, and In-Office Phlebotomy. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of daily activities in these settings. Demonstrating leadership behaviors, the Phlebotomist III- Float focuses on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
Applicants may be assigned to work in various environments, including doctor's offices, patient service centers, house calls, or long-term care, and may need to lead or mentor other staff members. They act as a resource and point of contact on-site, providing onboarding support for new employees and collaborating with multiple functions such as Sales, Laboratory Testing, IT, Billing, and Logistics, especially for complex practices requiring advanced phlebotomy skills.
The role demands managing multiple priorities in a high-volume setting and may involve working with high-complexity or high-volume practices requiring exceptional customer-facing skills, including verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
