Job summary

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy skills, high school diploma, and flexibility for weekends/holidays. Training on MAKO procedures and safety policies will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, blood samples).
  • Verify and reconcile orders using lab systems and service directory.
  • Enter patient registration and test orders accurately; ensure data integrity.
  • Enter billing information and collect payments when required, safeguarding payments.
  • Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens per test orders; data entry for processing.
  • Work with iLabs daily for billing accuracy; assist with monthly statistics.
  • Maintain phlebotomy logs and training on latest techniques; travel if required.
  • Support inventory, clerical duties, phone coverage and adherence to policies.
