The Health Alliance is seeking a part-time phlebotomy technician in Columbus, OH. You will collect specimens, verify orders, perform data entry for patient registrations and test orders, and assist with billing entries as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliability in transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
• Strong customer focus and clear communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, blood samples, pathology and cytology).
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems or directory of services.
• Enter patient registration and test orders; data entry accuracy.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and data through monthly statistics submission.
• Travel to Territory Manager meetings when held off-site or off-shift.
• Assist with general clerical duties and inventory as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and manuals.
