Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator for our Patient Service Center in Gilbert, AZ. The role involves skilled specimen collection, patient service, and leading activities to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include managing patient flow, reporting issues, and supporting billing and data entry while maintaining high quality customer service. Phlebotomy certification and Labcorp experience are preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish abilities valued.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience as a phlebotomist
  • 3+ years of experience in a coordinator or lead role
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
  • Current or prior Labcorp experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Observe and report performance, compliance or staffing issues to supervisors
  • Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
  • Monitor monthly productivity reports and report deviations as necessary
  • Address customer service-related issues promptly
  • Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information accurately
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team at our Patient Service Center located at 2730 South Val Vista Drive, Suite 3-111, Gilbert, AZ 85296.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and rotating Saturdays; additional days/hours as needed

Job Responsibilities

  • Process billing information and collect payments when required

  • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of experience in a coordinator or lead role
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
  • Current or Prior Labcorp experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
Additional Job Standards
  • In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Phlebotomists/Site Coordinators may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
