Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Gilbert, AZ team. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections, preparing specimens for testing, and delivering high-quality patient service in a busy lab environment.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong communication skills. Color vision testing and flexibility to travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Ability to pass a color vision test.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis, maintaining logs.
