Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Full-time phlebotomy supervisor for the Evening shift in Michigan. You will coordinate staffing for Specimen Control areas across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach phlebotomy, lead triage activities, and coach staff to meet quality metrics.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper specimen handling, reporting, and coordinating with teams to minimize delays while maintaining high customer service and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy training preferred.
• ASCP certification for Phlebotomy to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing for Specimen Control: inpatient, outpatient, and outreach phlebotomy.
• Lead and triage phlebotomy services; coach staff to meet metrics.
• Ensure specimens are collected, routed, and reported timely; monitor turnaround times.
