• Department operation provides 24-hour coverage, may require varying shifts.
• Must be able to be reached at home by telephone.

Responsibilities

• Obtains registration information from patients and signatures as outlined.
• Explains health care policies and procedures to patients.
• Obtains and interprets physician orders and performs clerical functions for ordering ancillary services.
• Distribute laboratory reports and retrieve patient results.
