Job summary

LabCorp in San Diego is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead a team of phlebotomists across patient service centers and client offices. You will oversee staffing, workflows and quality in a fast-paced diagnostic setting.

The role requires a California Phlebotomy license, a high school diploma, and supervisory experience. You will coordinate schedules, handle payroll and performance reviews, and ensure excellent patient service. This is a full-time leadership position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Supervise a phlebotomy team and ensure patient service excellence.
• Phlebotomy license valid in California is required.
• Experience supervising in clinical/hospital settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 20–30 phlebotomists in San Diego sites.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory and logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity and report deviations.
• Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules and payroll tasks.
• Hire, train and develop phlebotomists; handle HR issues.
• Communicate with patients, client staff, sales, logistics and management.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist in setting up new centers.
• Travel to additional sites as necessary.
