Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor in Reno, NV to lead patient service operations across PSCs, mobile and in-office phlebotomy teams. You will train staff, oversee daily activities, ensure QA, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in phlebotomy and two years of supervisory experience, plus strong organizational and communication skills. Travel to multiple sites is required, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years prior supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in phlebotomy, laboratory or other healthcare environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; relevant licensure or certifications may be required.
• Ability to manage personnel across multiple locations with strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all assigned facilities, PSCs, mobile and in-office phlebotomy.
• Implement SOPs for phlebotomy services per Quest Diagnostics guidelines.
• Ensure licensure compliance and QA/QC documentation.
• Manage safety, maintenance, and cleanliness of facilities.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Prepare schedules, monitor overtime, and ensure adequate coverage.
• Participate in budget planning and cost containment initiatives.
• Travel to sites as required and lead cross-functional process improvements.
