Job summary

Parkview Health Lab in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Lab Support Services Technician – Phlebotomy. Responsibilities

• Performs blood collection using various procedures.
• Uses patient identifiers to verify orders and pending draws.
• Handles non-blood specimen collections as required (e.g., sputum, fecal).
• Adheres to local/state/federal regulations to ensure privacy and safety.
• Responds to fluctuations in volume and equipment/IS issues; manages shift hand-offs and time-sensitive orders.
• Ensures specimen integrity and proper labeling and transport.
