Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and complete Lab Support Services and Lab Assistant training within the first year.
• Experience with phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Ability to comply with regulatory standards and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection across patient ages.
• Receives, accession, processes, and distributes specimens for testing.
• Maintains proper specimen labeling, handling, and tracking using LIS.
• Performs urine drug screen collections and breathalyzer testing after required training.
