Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a team of phlebotomists across clinic labs. You will manage staff scheduling, training, and competency assessments while ensuring all blood draws and specimen collections meet safety and regulatory standards.

You will also handle specimen processing, order entry, supply ordering and other assigned duties, with potential work at multiple Summit Health lab locations. Travel to satellite sites is required.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience and drug screen collection preferred.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification through the NHA required.
• Ability to perform testing at satellite sites and maintain accuracy.
• Strong leadership and training skills for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection per standards.
• Schedule staff and assist phlebotomy lead with coverage.
• Train staff and assess competency of team members.
• Operate LIS, enter orders, and track specimens.
• Ensure timely results and maintain specimen integrity.
