Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Laboratory Associate to join the patient care team. The role includes specimen collection, registration, order entry, processing, packaging, and transport of specimens across age groups.

The position requires adherence to quality guidelines, and may involve microbiological tasks and multi-campus rotation. Weekend and holiday coverage is required, with flexibility to cover shifts other than the primary one.

Competenze

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of approved phlebotomy program preferred.
• Completion of Phlebotomy Internship preferred.
• 1 Year experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Prioritizes processing and transport of routine and stat specimens.
• Performs order entry and registration according to policies.
• Performs phlebotomy, specimen collection and labeling.
• Maintains accurate records and temperature logs.
• Monitors inventory and keeps work area neat and organized.
