Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Laboratory Associate to join the patient care team. The role includes all aspects of specimen collection—from registration to transport—and phlebotomy across neonatal to geriatric patients.

You will ensure specimen integrity and accurate results while supporting supply and inventory control. You will work across multiple campuses, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed, following strict hospital and laboratory policies.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of approved phlebotomy program preferred.
• Completion of Phlebotomy Internship preferred.
• 1 Year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involved in specimen collection, registration, order entry, processing and transport.
• Performs age-appropriate phlebotomy on neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Maintains quality control for integrity of specimens and results.
• Manages supply ordering and inventories; ensures accurate records and labeling.
