Signature Healthcare’s Brockton Hospital in Brockton, MA is hiring a Clinical Lab Assistant-Phlebotomy Technician to collect blood samples, register patients, and order tests in outpatient and inpatient settings. You will receive and process specimens, ensure proper labeling, and maintain specimen integrity throughout the testing workflow.

The role centers on accurate specimen handling, clear communication with patients and staff, and adherence to laboratory policies, contributing to quality

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with medical terminology, customer service and patient registration preferred.
Phlebotomy (ASCP) or Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required; Meditech/Lattice experience valued.

Responsibilities

Collect blood samples following policy in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Register patients as required and document accurate information.
Process specimens and ensure proper labeling and tracking in LIS.
Deliver specimens to testing areas and maintain specimen integrity.
Communicate lab information clearly to patients and staff.
