Job summary

Western Nevada College is seeking part-time, temporary instructors to teach assigned courses and support lab operations during the contract period.

Responsibilities include preparing syllabi, managing lab setup and inventory, maintaining student records, and participating in faculty activities. Spanish fluency and prior college teaching are preferred. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis to build an applicant pool.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent in education or experience) in the specified discipline or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and be available to students during the contract period.
• Prepare course syllabi and related instructional materials.
• Set up lab supplies and room arrangements for classes.
• Manage inventory and ordering of lab supplies.
• Maintain student records, including attendance and grades.
• Administer student evaluations.
• Participate in orientation and faculty meetings as requested.
• Participate in student retention activities as requested.
• Promote college educational programs and services to the community.
