Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the specified discipline or related field.
• Experience teaching college level courses.
• Experience with distance education/web teaching modalities.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Ability to communicate effectively with college faculty, staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and be available to students during the contract period.
• Prepare course syllabi and related instructional materials.
• Manage set up of lab supplies and room arrangements prior to each class.
• Manage inventory and ordering of lab supplies.
• Maintain student records, including attendance and grades.
• Administer student evaluations.
• Participate in orientation and faculty meetings as requested.
• Participate in student retention activities as requested.
• Promote college educational programs and services to the communities served by WNC.
