Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist Group Lead in Palm Coast, FL, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role includes coaching staff, ensuring high-quality phlebotomy services, and coordinating PSC/IOP operations in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate will lead specimen collection, data entry, and patient interactions while maintaining compliance with SOPs and quality standards. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Seven years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to PSCs/IOPs as needed.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff and coach new employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of PSC/IOP teams and train staff.
• Collect specimens according to established procedures and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure data entry, billing, and payments are handled correctly.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs, temperature logs and related records.
• Provide onboarding, coaching, and escalation support to the supervisor.
