Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Orlando is seeking a Phlebotomist Group Lead with a Monday–Friday schedule, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM, and rotational weekends. The role leads PSC/IOP activities, coaches staff, and ensures accurate phlebotomy procedures across sites.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, billing support, and mentorship for new employees, with travel as needed and ongoing collaboration with multiple functions to uphold patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Seven years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in certain states.
• Flexible hours and travel across multiple locations, including weekends.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills and superior customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and inventory; assist with scheduling.
• Provide onboarding for new staff and act as a mentor to teammates.
