Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist Group Lead to supervise patient service operations and perform phlebotomy in a fast-paced setting. The role encompasses coaching, scheduling, and ensuring accuracy in patient data and specimen handling.

The successful candidate will have extensive phlebotomy experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lead teams across PSCs/IOPs. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Enter data and manage billing and patient information.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Provide onboarding and coaching for new staff.
• Travel to Territory Manager meetings as needed.
• Lead daily work across PSCs and IOPs.
